Our Artistist Residency in La Union: ItikLandia Ensemble

Supported graciously by the Goethe Institut Philippinen, Daloy Dance Company 's artist residency unfolds as a significant chapter for our talented dancers, leading up to the highly anticipated "ItikLandia" performance on January 27 at The Cultural Center of the Philippines.

The journey in La Union has been a tale of transformation. Five Daloy dancers immersed themselves in rigorous rehearsals, explored local landscapes, and wove memorable moments, beautifully encapsulated in striking imagery. Serenity Deck, offered an inspiring space for our preparations, and have been instrumental in shaping this artistic experience.

Special acknowledgments are extended to Eva Marie Wang, the esteemed director of Hiraya Collective, for generously hosting the team at Hanan Airbnb during this creatively charged period. Collaborations like these are fun, and inspiring!

As the final touches are placed on "ItikLandia," scheduled at the Cultural Center of the Philippines on January 27, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. The support of the Goethe Institut Philippinen has been the cornerstone of this artistic endeavor.

Serenity Deck's contribution, providing not just a rehearsal venue but a space that inspires the creative process, is gratefully acknowledged. We also visited Mebuyan's Vessel public art installation, in San Juan. This work is created by artist, Leeroy New.

With great anticipation, we look forward to presenting the culmination of their efforts in "ItikLandia." at The Cultural Center of the Philippines on January 27.
